I did it. For the first time in a few months, I ran two days in a row. I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun it was to be out in the sunshine, getting in a couple of slow miles and some safe vitamin D (where my sunscreener and hat people at?).

The fact is, most of the time getting out to run feels like work. That’s not what I’m looking for, I have plenty of work on my plate, I’m looking for balance!
Speaking of balance, the real 90 day run free program includes a two week food test at the top. I’ve already done that in the past and it was eye opening how much processed sugar weasels it’s way into our food on the daily. This time around, I’m not doing a full two week test, just being far more mindful of my sugar intake. Moderation, all around.
So, where do we go from here? I’m looking forward to another fun run tomorrow morning before work. But truly, we’ll see how it shakes out.
